IntroductionWelcome to Computer Technology Internet Ethics! Over the past twelve years computers have become more and more important in the lives of most everyone. In the workplace computers are everywhere. In education students are now required to use a word processor to produce reports and assignments for most of their classes. Many classes require students to do research on the Internet. What do you know about ethics and Internet research? What is plagiarism? What does it mean when you plagiarize work that someone else has done? Is it against the law to copy or borrow software? How about music or movies that you can download? Why would you use an e-mail account? Do employers and schools have concerns about employees and students using the Internet? In this assignment you will find information about ethical use of the Internet and present your findings in a PowerPoint presentation. After completing your presentation you will export your presentation into Microsoft Word and turn it into an informative essay. |
